That’s where Yourbill comes in. We’ve taken invoicing and expenses and created the platform that we wanted to see and use, and to achieve this we’ve put experience first. That means no jargon and no complicated drawn out processes.
We all love having great experiences, and keeping on top of your accounts shouldn’t be any different. Yourbill was founded on a shared belief of having an experience first approach, which gives us a competitive advantage over other existing bookkeeping solutions.
Who are Yourbill?
We’re a bunch of creatives and technologists, based in Newcastle upon Tyne (UK).
Yourbill aims to challenge the status quo and to redefine the experience of bookkeeping. We aren’t accountants but we are entrepreneurs, which means that we understand the needs of freelancers and small business owners.
Why did we create Yourbill?
Our CEO was in the market for a new bookkeeping solution. After trying several off-the-shelf solutions and experiencing many hours of frustration, he decided that there must be a better way of doing things. It was then that the initial idea for Yourbill was conceived and it remained an idea until early 2016 when the founding team was formed.
The founding team have a shared belief in creating amazing users experiences, and we don’t believe in over complicating things. Whilst there are some really great solutions out there, we didn’t feel like any of them spoke to us – we didn’t need an all singing all dancing accounting tool that speaks a different language.
What we wanted was simple: an easy to use, beautifully simple platform that allows us to keep on top of our invoicing and expenses, and that doesn’t cost the earth do to it.
When will Yourbill launch?
With a team of developers and creative heavyweights on hand, Yourbill will become a reality Early 2018.
The impending Government plans to roll out their ‘Making Tax Digital’ scheme (whereby all businesses with a turnover in excess of £10,000 per year will have to file a copy of their accounts digitally), enforces our belief that a simple and cost effective solution for the masses is needed more than ever.
And here we are, just months from launch and eager to see Yourbill in all its glory.
